Bank statements are automatically downloaded from your clients bank removing the need to get bank statements sent in the post or contacting the bank for copies. This is only available where the client gives authority (via the app) and their bank is part of the OpenBanking consortium.
With access to bank statements on a weekly (or monthly basis) bank reconciliation via the built in Bank reconciliation page will save you and your staff precious time.
Your data is safe with Xpressobooks. The data is fully encrypted on our European cloud servers using 256 Bit AES encryption. The data files are backed up automatically to Amazon AWS infrastructure. The data is also sitting on your local computers so you can backup to any other storage system.

As your staff work on client accounts , the time taken is automatically logged as they fill in an on screen worksheet which also creates notification badges on your dashboard alerting you to progress on assigned tasks
Staff can be assigned permissions, as to what they are allowed to do or change. Staff members can be assigned permissions to Submit VAT or MTD, change Client information or Add new clients.
Client documents are kept in a central hub and accessible to you and your staff. Receipts, Invoices, Letters, contracts are all categorised and easily accessed from your dashboard
Fast data entry for you and your clients is of paramount importance. Having the ability to use the keyboard and shortcuts on your desktop means that taking hands off to click “save” with a mouse can slow batch entry of client data. XB allows keyboard shortcuts in concert with a mouse to speed up data entry
The data on your desktop computer uses a non proprietary database called SqLite, allowing easy export and extraction of data if the need arises. Data can also be exported from within Xpressobooks into an Excel file format if need be.
Offline & Online
Other cloud based software cannot be used if for any reason there is no internet access. Xpressobooks has been designed to work offline and automatically sync to the cloud and the Clients App and the Accountants admin program when connection has been restored – all without your intervention
Logs of every transaction, change, addition, or deletion by each staff member is logged and timestamped for easy trace-ability or recovery.
Xpressobooks is an integrated system consisting of an App that runs on iPhones and Android (Samsung, HTC, Huwawei etc) phones. The Accountants admin program is free and works in conjunction with the paid for App. The client App cannot submit VAT or MTD, as we believe that an accountant is needed to make sure that information submitted is correct. In short XB is not usable to its full advantage without an accountant.
The accountant admin program is totally free with no strings attached. It allows you to manage the accounts of your clients from one simple dashboard and without login credentials needed for each client. Just because the admin is free doesn’t mean we overcharge for the App – far from it. We don’t belive in false time limited discounts to pull you in and then hit you with unforseen charges when you have now expended time and resources testing suitability.
Your accountants admin program allows you or your staff to assign tasks to different staff members, and receive notifications of task progress (Started, in
progress, Done ..).
